Humza Yousaf, Minister for Europe and International Development for the Scottish Government, announced the latest round of its small grants programme fund. The Minister made the announcement at the Malawi Independence Celebrations on 11 July 2015 at Whiteinch Centre in Glasgow, . The £500,000 fund is available to small Scotland-based NGOs to plan, implement or expand programmes helping some of the world’s poorest communities. Project grants up to £60,000 are available for over a three year period. A maximum of £10,000 for feasibility and capacity building grants are available to cover a one year period. Projects must be based in Scotland’s international development priority countries: Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Indian States of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Orissa.
